What's the last movie that made you cry or tear up?

Just Netflixed this one last week. That is one of the most poignant lines in cinema. Seriously.

    Oh, yeah.

Wall-E got me, too. At points in the movie that were rather unique, like some of the early scenes.

Shit. Anyone watch the Hallmark movie tonight, "Front of the Class"? It got me, dammit. Story about a guy with tourettes who becomes a teacher. Interesting, but not tear-jerking. But he finally gets a teaching job and one cute, sweet little girl is immediately accepting of him (spasms and all), and...

    she has cancer.

    Dies.

    Fuckitall, I cried.

The people who write those Hallmark and Lifetime movies have to be the sickest fuckers on the planet.

It like the Hallmark/Lifetime writers are back there trying to see how many heartstrings they can fuck with.

"Guys, I got it. We have a guy raised by a single mom, never knew his dad. Life gets turned around when a HS teacher motivates him. He joins the Army and meets the guy who will be his best friend at boot camp. When his buddy dies, he takes care of his buddy's wife and newborn daughter. Then he finds out his mom has terminal cancer. He rushes home to be with her and introduce her to his fiancee - the fallen buddy's wife. But on the way home, he dies in a car accident."

"That's gold, Frank. Pure gold. If we act fast, I bet we can get the mom from Home Improvement to play his mom."

For me, probably The Family Stone.

"Just Like Heaven" - first, the scene when it seems Reese Witherspoon is about to die after being taken off life support, and second, when she's atop a hill in San Francisco and watching her niece and nephew play, wondering why there is still an emptiness inside of her.

The book, "If Only It Were True," is a tear-jerker, too.

The last one for me was Wall-E, but that's because I haven't seen too many movies for the first time lately.

The one that gets me every single time is the end of 'The Iron Giant'.
