    I really wish I had two monitors when I’m doing grading (I have one program for assignments and another to post grades for report cards. The two programs don’t talk to each other and the district won’t pay for a program that acts as a go between. I end up with tiny boxes next to each other)

    Back in the '80s, our slot editors had two Atex monitors and a little toggle switch installed on the keyboard to jump back and forth.

    That was the height of aspiration for the rest of us mopes back then.

    I was on a call yesterday with one of my older employees admonishing her for not watching an app we use and in the course of the conversation we decided she needed a second monitor. I was amazed to find several brand new onws on Amazon for $60.
