Oh great...another one of your attacks at someone's intelligence based on their opinion...get a fucking life. It's a message board. For discussion. Relax.

I stand by my statement completely.

Uhh, you'll have to go stand by the parts BYH picked your statement into.

    Other than that, nice work.

Awww, I upset the newbie. Poor widdle newbie.  ::)

I never questioned your intelligence. I just said your post was the dumbset thing I've ever read, and my so-called attack was actually a point-by-point dissection of your weak argument. Unlike the Short Bus troop leader Pube, my arguments consist of more than YOU ARE STUPID IF YOU HAD READ MY POST YOU WOULD KNOW or something lame like that.

You might very well be smart. But your desire to stick with your opinion, even after I turned it into swiss cheese, makes me wonder.

Probably the same way I did!

Attack? More like picking apart your argument bit by bit.

And yes, it's a message board. For discussion. Which is what he was doing.

    Maybe you should relax some.

Please don't associate me with Pubert. I'd like to think I can have an opinion of my own on these boards without being referred to as a "reinforcement".

As a Jays fan, I realize there are only two ways that Toronto will ever finish on top of the AL East again.

    a) Increase payroll. This will allow the club to bring in another two ace pitchers to work behind Halladay and acquire considerable bullpen help.

    b) A train carrying the entire Yankees roster leaves from New York traveling east at 85 miles per hour. A train carrying the entire Red Sox roster leaves from Boston traveling west at 85 miles per hour. The trains collide, killing all passengers.

    C. Take advantage of the 19-game division loaded schedule and beat the Yankees head to head down the stretch.

Those are two players. How about Jermaine Dye, Johnny Damon, Mark Mulder, Tim Hudson, Migeul Tejada, Jason Giambi, Joe Randa, Carlos Beltran, Raul Ibanez, Ramon Hernandez, Cory Lidle, Jason Isringhausen, Keith Foulke, etc.

Sorry, but we just lost 3 of 4 to the A's. I don't see us beating anyone down the stretch.

Don't you hate the way the A's just buy the division every year?

In all honesty, I can see multiple points here, and yours is well taken. i just think the Blue Jays are in one of the worst positions in all of sports.

And, being in Canada surely doesn't help them with baseball's system. That said, they have a solid team. If Rios and Burnett are healthy all year, who knows?

I don't think they'd catch the Sox, but perhaps the Yankees.
