When I was 17, we got our SAT results back and some chick in my class asked me what I got. So I told her. And she went off on a rampage and started screaming at me -- right in the middle of the classroom. Then she started crying. She thought I was gloating; I wasn't. She was just really insecure about her score, and she was a fucking immature basketcase.

That's the last time I've ever mentioned my SAT score to anybody. I've never really felt like it was relevant.

Maybe I'm wrong. I could go back to my mom's house and find it, and scan it, and post it here, if y'all think it'll boost my credibility when I'm arguing about, you know, something like NFL vs. MLB systems. She keeps all that shit, so I'm sure she'd let me borrow it for a while, as long as I brought it back. Just asking. I like to have the respect of my peers, and, well, not to be boastful, but I did do pretty well on my SATs. But I mean, that was in high school and all.

Nice to see that chick has been able to find this message board, though. Maybe you two should take a picture together, y'know, for posterity's sake. The big reunion and all.

Clearly. What was Gretchen Wilson's SAT score?

    It was a long night.

She kept trying to explain the NFL playoff system, and, well, one thing led to another...

Edit: Nevermind. I went into a big diatribe about how the A's and Royals traded all of these players, then I bothered to read the last 9 pages of the thread and realized that had been answered about 32 times already.
So, I'll just leave it with this: MLB is in the lead!

    It was stupid.

The ass made the flame remark about spell-check and I bit.

Albeit, for 10 seconds, which he/she saw.

But I pathetically took the bait, and here we are.

    This not debatable.
These are your World Series winners over the past decade:

    2005: Chicago, No. 3 market
    2004: Boston, No. 5 market
    2003: Miami, No. 17 market
    2002: Anaheim/LA, No. 2 market
    2001: Phoenix, No. 14 market
2000: New York, No. 1 market
1999: New York, No. 1 market
1998: New York, No. 1 market
    1997: Miami, No. 17 market
1996: New York, No. 1 market

Average size of championship market: 6

These are your Super Bowl champions:

    2005: Pittsburgh, No. 22
    2004: Boston, No. 5
    2003: Boston, No. 5
    2002: TBay, No. 12
    2001: Boston, No. 5
    2000: Baltimore, No. 24
    1999: St. Louis, No. 21
    1998: Denver: No. 18
    1997: Denver: No. 18
1996: Green Bay: No. 33 (Milwaukee)

Average market size of champion: 16

How is this even a debate?

Because market size really isn't everything.

The White Sox, for instance, are one of two teams in the Chicago market and the one with less revenue from tv.

So, you divide Chicago into two.

That would still stand as the sixth-largest market.

Twoback's list in unassailable from the simpletons.
