    BTE --
    College football is completely different.

And you are right about pitching being an equalizer, but at least you would stipulate that a 101-61 record is in no way commensurate with a 10-6 record, correct?

And with friends like these, pube, who needs enemies.

    Little boy.

The weight of logic on your side of the argument is lighter than Forrest Gump's feather.

Your comments are surface-y and rely on exceptional occurrence in battling the commonplace truisms in place in my points.

    Good night, son.

The day you make even 10 cents on the dollar of logical sense in comparison with BT on anything, believe me, you'll be the first one I let know.

Hey, I had sex with my girlfriend last night.

    I get laid 31 times a month.

Numbers without context can be fun!

My comments are surfacey? Really? I thought I'd put a lot of work into writing something other than BASEBALL IS GREAT I LOVE BASEBALL FUCK YOU IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH ME, which is the gist of your argument. And since I wrote it, my side has taken a commanding lead in the balloting. Oh well, I guess you're right!

Going to bed is a good idea. Admit defeat by pretending to be above it all. Maybe tomorrow will be the day you wake up on the right side of the bed.

You lost, dude. I've been telling you for months to start this thread and you. are. getting. your. ass. kicked. I called your bluff. You lost and you can't deal with it. Of course. You debate like a 2-year-old, except for 2-year-olds, it's a phase. For you, it's life. I feel sorry for you, I really do. It must be tough to go thru life so ill-informed and self-delusional.

Good night, goober. Please come back tomorrow so we can all laugh at you some more.

Why do you think the NFL is far more popular than MLB in nearly all locations? Partly because it actually caters to the fans. Superstars remain with teams and if not, new and established superstars come in to stay awhile. It's all equal money, so teams are on an even scale and have to spend their money wisely. The Yankees can essentially just get whoever they want and if it doesn't work out, oh well, worth a risk. (best ex: Carl Pavano)

In cities like Oakland, Miami, and Kansas City, MLB fans know that the top players are going to leave (via trade or enormous contract) after they break out. And the system just repeats itself.

If I was located in Tampa Bay, there would be no chance in hell I'd be watching the Devil Rays. They will never catch up to the Red Sox, Yankees, and now the Blue Jays on a consistant basis unless they dump (alot) more money onto that payroll. And if they ever did have a lucky season with that payroll, it wouldn't last long since their marquee players would soon be dispersed.

You, Chevy and Martin keep at it.

Among the sane and mature on this board, there is no argument.

You should have read my response to your screed.

    Would have learned something.

In the recorded history of lame insults, that one is a first ballot Hall of Famer. I can't wait until we see a man who named himself after his genital region pull out such classics as:

    "You smell"
    "I'm rubber and you're glue"
    and...
    "You have cooties"
