    Well done, Jason.

I don't always agree with your opinions, but I really respect your work and your dedication to the craft. You're not a phony, which is probably why your relationship with ESPN was destined to end abruptly.

Your soul is better off not working there.

The Declaration of Independence, 95 Theses and the Magna Carta didn't weigh in at 6,250 words.

But Bill Simmons thinks he's entitled to more. Because he has something better to say.

It's funny that Jason only now sees what this little bag of shit is really all about when he's been told and told and told what Simmons is for years.

    Don't forget the Gettysburg Address.

Simmons' stuff doesn't hold the same interest from this province as it once did. Occassionally, he can be entertaining, but I don't have the time or desire to read 7,000-word manifestos on how Larry Bird is the Second Coming and how the NBA is misunderstood.

Yes, Whitlock's so noble. He consumes ESPN like a 1/2-pound cheeseburger, and it him, and his act of civil disobedience belongs on par with Gandhi, King or Thoreau. You win again, Jason. You're such a martyr.

Well Big Sexy, if they can't take constructive criticism, that's on them. No one should be untouchable when it comes to criticizing. The majority of us didn't think you crossed the line. You said it without malice of any kind.

Solomon has to toe that company line and it's unfortunate that the busy bees were looking over his shoulder as he typed that.

So by that "star-treatment is accountable too" proclaimation, we should be watching for Loopy suspension for threatening Whitlock with "You'll never work here again if you don't watch it" for his memorable TSR proclaiming sports as entertainment episode, right?

Hell, if Solomon wants to see pointed and personal criticism of Lupica and Scoop, he ought to drop in on this site. What Whitlock said was peanuts compared to what we say here on a daily basis.
