I give Arkansas a hard time, too, but there might not be better all-sports facilities anywhere in America. Most people are STUNNED the first time they go to Arkansas.

But yeah, good luck throwing forward passes next year, Grobe. Better recruit your ass off.

I wondered the same thing. No byline either.

I just think winning the ACC at Wake should be your ticket to whatever job you want. Heck, schools should be firing coaches to get a shot at the guy that could do what he did at Wake.

I completely agree. I think he and Brian Kelly are the two guys everyone should pursue like crazy.

And a few years from now, remember the name Pete Lembo — the guy at Elon.

I guess that creates yet another school that tries to get Paul Johnson.

The article about Grobe already been posted has been updated a little bit.

Grobe seemed to be a serious "candidate" for the Tennessee job before Fulmer got incredibly lucky and won three of their last six games of the year on opponent's missed field-goals.

As opposed to Florida, which got no late-game luck to win the SEC last season.
Or Georgia, which had no luck at all in the fourth quarter to beat Vanderbilt this season and got to play a beat-to-shit Tebow.
Or LSU, which never got that break it needed in all of those close wins this season.

How about a little perspective here? Fulmer is 7-1 in overtime and wins many more close games than he loses. I don't know how the hell he does it either, but he does, and at some point, he should get some credit for it. He won the East with less talent than Florida or Georgia this season.

I won't believe any story (even if it's AP) on ESPN.com until Herbie confirms it.

God, I hope Arkansas doesn't screw this up like they did the basketball hire. If it does, I'm going to be embarrassed I almost graduated from there.
