What would the NCAA take away? Wins? Ha!

Could you possibly imagine how bad Duke would be with scholarship restrictions? Ugh.

Well, with no such restrictions Duke has one win in the last two seasons. It couldn't be that much different.

True. It's just laughable how poorly Michigan has gone through this coaching search.

What they really need to do is get away from this "Michigan Man" stuff and hire the best man for the job. At some point, it's a good thing to break away from the past.

It's reminiscent of the Kentucky basketball hire or any hire at Arkansas.

And you would think that Vick owes Petrino for putting him in a fucking bind with a team that had no passion to play once Vick got suspended.

maybe not in wins and losses, but certainly in point differentials. That team would lose to most Kansas JUCO programs.

What's the deal with the Miles phone call with Michigan last week? Was it just a discussion on who would be a good hire or does Miles have buyer's remorse?

To me -- whether or not Miles takes the Michigan job -- there's not a reason in the world why he shouldn't take that phone call. It's obvious Michigan fans want him there, and it's obvious he still holds a place in his heart for the Maize and Blue.
A phone call when practice is limited isn't going to derail anything.

Obviously nothing earth-shattering, but Tyrone Nix leaving South Carolina to take over the defense for Houston Nutt at Ole Miss. Seems like a step down considering he was a finalist for the Southen Miss gig (not to mention he was already a def. coordinator in the SEC).

Style question about Michigan: Why the hyphen in U-M? Why not just UM? That's always puzzled me.
