Might not help the economy, but if the state is faced with 3rd and 17, you know the sprint draw is coming...

I think Notre Dame go Bobby Bowden. He would be a great get for them.
Established coach. Bigtime winner. Can recruit. Honestly could they get anyone better than Bobby Bowden?
Plus, he's not doing anything now.

Perhaps not consciously, but the diffusion of focus is obvious. Which game is MORE important? No contest.

I spent a week on the Georgia coast this summer and I saw about 2,154 Georgia stickers on cars and none, zero, nada Georgia Tech stickers. I actually started searching as I drove after the first day or two, and still nothing.

    Whatever that is worth.

I hope you're not being serious with this.

Actually, Paterno could move from Penn State and they could co-coach. When ND goes 3-8, they would each receive 1.5 wins.

Yeah I hear there's a nice assisted living home near the campus so it'd be perfect.

Actually, Notre Dame is trying to coax Mickey Andrews out of retirement.

Hasn't stopped Oregon, Boise State, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Iowa, Penn State (more than half of the current top-10 teams).

The line starts with Brian Kelly and Gary Patterson. I hope Patterson gets the job. He's done wonders at TCU.
