Not really. I've never seen anything to indicate he's in favor of junking the Constitution.

I really can't see how that matters unless one of the girls scored a controversial split decision over Conlin when he was molesting her.

You've obviously never been to the Delaware Valley. Unless you have seen Rollie Massamino in his underwear or had a wit wiz with Milt Wagner, you wouldn't understand.

The fights Conlin had with Crashburn Alley, years ago now, were pretty entertaining.

An awesome display of unjustified egomaniacal dribble.

Rich Hofmann's column from the Daily News' perspective. I wonder how much of this is just spin, "We didn't know he was a pervert because we didn't know him at all." I was certainly surprised that he says he only talked to Conlin once or twice a year, considering they covered a lot of the same games, I'm sure.

I'm not surprised at all. Shoot, we're only a 100,000 daily, and our columnist lives 120 miles away. We're friends from earlier days when he lived a few blocks away, but if I had come in 3, 4 years ago, I'd barely know him on a personal basis.

The days are past when there's a universal expectation for a columnist to put in office time, or see their colleagues at all.
