Who's doing the hiring for ESPN Oklahoma?

True, with Insider they have a revenue source for paid content. (Maybe with fantasy, I don't know if they charge for leagues now.) But then that also takes some of the revenues away from the mag, since it's bundled with the mag subscription.

To ask again, anyone know other schools they're hiring to cover?

Did they hire someone to cover the SEC? I believe they have.

I heard they were going to go with about 15 or so programs. It's football driven, so would guess we're looking at the usual suspects as far as schools go.

My understanding is that they're looking at specific teams, not the conferences. They already have that taken care of by their bloggers.

Doesn't ESPN Dallas already have beat writers for Texas, Texas A@M and TCU?

It would seem to be that if they included the Oklahoma writers as part of ESPN Dallas they would pick up a lot of hits from Oklahomans who follow the Cowboys and the Rangers.

This is my theory, but I'm sure it can be verified one way or another.
