Because:

* I spent 18 years obsessed with a fair-to-middling baseball player.
* I eat my food in segments. If I have a sandwich, fries, and cole slaw, I eat the fries, then the cole slaw, then the sammich. No interspersing food.
* I eat colored candies in color groups. M&Ms: brown, orange, yellow, green, blue, red. Skittles: purple, orange, yellow, green, red. Never mix them.
