Why do sportswriters resent blogs?

Dahlberg's column was so poor, though, that had I not known any better, I'd have thought a blogger wrote it. It's clear by the story's lack of depth that Dahlberg just watched the highlights on ESPN and then wrote a column about it. You know, like a terrible blogger would do.
