Why does Bruce Willis suck now?

45% combined critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. Audience score somewhat higher. (Because if you're the general audience seeking out a Bruce Willis movie, you're probably going to like it anyway, right?)

Original Die Hard was 94% all by itself.

Bruce has 19 movies with a critics score of 10% or less. Daniel Day-Lewis has been a credited actor in 20 movies total.

 

Be warned - Willis has 12 titles in process or "in the can." He's not slowing down.

I think a lot of his movies are films where he pops in for two or three days - shoots his scenes and cashes a $500k check. The Red Box machine needs content.
