Why is this board dying?

The board hasn't been as good since, well since Fenian left.

 

Yeah, shot, the romance between anon3:16 and anon4:27 was all the rage.

 

Fuck this. Fucking McClatchy just announced another 1,000 jobs will be cut - as per two other boards. That's why the board's 'dying.' The fucking industry is dying.

I just don't get why people think this sub-board is dying.

I mean, how many new "Journalism topics only" threads do you expect per day? When you consider journalism is being discussed on all the boards on here, there's a very narrow number of posts that fit here.

Maybe renaming this board "The Industry" would be more fitting.

 

Now, BYH, if we can quarantine you to have a 90210 subboard, that would be great.

Not directed at you, Inky...but first it was thought the journalism topics were getting buried by the bullshit, so the boards were divided into bullshit and not bullshit. Now there's either journalism being discussed everywhere...or nowhere, because there's so much bullshit.

So which is it? (and again: not at all directed at Inky, just a response to his general statement)

 

Not pointing a finger at him but it's actions like those that may explain what's going on with the board. He's not the only person doing it but he was the only one to hurl an f-bomb insult. More importantly, he hurled it at me saying he's tired of playing the game, whatever that means.
