My wife read that Saturday morning and made it clear that she would not have been happy with that as a plan.

I'm flunking Jewish Wife here. I think the Seder before the concert sounds like a lot of fun.

You could invite the same family members you'd see normally. The religious requirement is that certain elements of the story be explained so the children will understand and learn. I have to believe any kids at this Seder are more likely to remember what they heard here, not less.

    Not seeing the problem.

Several hours after I posted that I showed the article to my wife who told me she would have been fine with it, if I had brought her along instead of trying to go solo.

Taking Temple to go all the way.

    Or Hail. Can't decide.

Either way, will be thinking of the SJ Tribe when throwing back the traditional 4 shots of Grey Goose.

Murray State didn't make it in this year, so Temple is an easy choice.

Tonight will be my first Passover with a family in at least 15 years. I'm making potato kugel.

We cheated. Had Seder Saturday night, because out-of-town family could make it for the weekend.

Wonderful time, and younger niece's goyishe boyfriend (whom we were meeting for the first time) passed every fiendish test we devised for him.

    Gut yuntif to all!

Brisket, potato kugel, noodle kugel, matzo ball soup, veggies and fruit galore, matzo with butter and lots of good company. Happy Passover!
