Will Caleb Hannan ever address the Dr. V story?

It's still up for debate whether Hannan's mistake resulted in Dr. V's death. No one can say for sure that it did.

As it stands, the apology issued on his behalf is fine.

Oh, come on. It's weak. He wrote it.

    Good awareness.

"a person working for another person or a business firm for pay."

"a person who works for another person or for a company for wages or a salary."

Thanks, dude. Your opinion on my "awareness" is noted.

    He's not an employee.

Maybe, you know, find some evidence to support your opinion.

I still don't know what more anyone wants or thinks they're going to get. The guy who ultimately green-lighted the story's publication explained the entire process and admitted to grossly misunderstanding the impact of the outing.

The people who will not accept that explanation and apology won't accept any. There's no magic bullet sentence that can make all of this OK.

Ding Ding Ding. And that's how you get YankeeFan starting this thread on a story we already talked to death.

There should be no desire to hear from the person who wrote the story? Only the person who "greenlighted" it?

I don't think Simmons played any role at all in the interview/revelation in question. Therefore, what he has to say about it means no more than, for example, what a lawyer would say about a client's guilt or innocence.

You can desire it all you want. I don't think you'll get it, and if you do, it'll be the same exact thing we already have.

It would be from him. So that would be different.

Anyway, I'm more interested in what happens if/when his name pops up on another story.
