    A similar number of games involving Chris Evert and her clone would last two weeks. And this is awesome. All tournaments should eschew the tiebreaker in the final set.

    Agree completely. I'd be in favor of getting rid of tiebreakers altogether in any set. Hell, do it and make the men's matches best of 3 instead of 5.

    Um, no. There's a reason the tiebreaker was put in place -- because the matches would drone on forever and it messes up the schedule, too. Not having one in the fifth set is fine.

    Ah, the MSHSL -- my nemesis for five years.

    I remain miffed about the MSHSL denying me for credentials ten years ago for GIRLS SOCCER QUARTERFINALS because I missed the request deadline date by a day. I still get cranky at the $6 I had to fork over to be bored for six hours. :)

    This match has gone from awesome to annoying quickly. The cool factor of it has worn off. Just ace after ace after ace.
