    This isn't the final. And neither of these guys would have had a shot in hell of actually winning the tournament anyway. You want the final to go a full five, fine, that I can understand. But it's totally pointless in an opening round match. Save the wear and tear on the players and the court and wrap it up at 7-6.

    And, in other news, both soccer games remain locked at 0-0. Nice pre-emption move, ESPN.

    Mahut makes some crazy diving attempt at a shot a la Jim Edmonds in centerfield. Gets up, dusts self off, uncorks an ace. All this after eight hours of playing.

    Unreal.
