Here's a look at 11 boxing writers' scorecards from the Margo-Williams fight. I might have to watch the fight with the sound down, as I did DLH-PBF to get a better look:

    Here's the tally:

    Margo Win -- 4

    Draw -------- 4

    P-Dub Win -- 3

Hmmmmmm? That's interesting. More guys from this sample had Margo winning.

    Huh?

When I rewatched the DLH fight, I scored it for DLH after originally scoring it for PBF. These guys have better eyes than I do, and they were ringside.

Can't wait to watch this one again.

At worst, Margo was 1 won round away from retaining his title.

Damn Floyd won the lottery! He better be showing some love for P-Dub.

So, the Gatti-Gomez ass-beating I randomly watched on HBO tonight was live? Gatti got the ever-loving shit kicked out of him, it was pretty amusing since the entire crowd was rooting for Gatti.

Take away Margo's sweethearts on the internet and that's half the victories. Those internet boxing writers don't know shit. Scoring the first Taylor-Hopkins fight with a few of them taught me that.

The three judges at ringside scored it for Williams and the two judges on the HBO staff judged it for Williams while Lampley was openly jocking Margorito.

Oh well more fodder for Margo on his campaign to be internet champion.

One thing I will say, that was a great show put on by HBO last night and I hope the other promoters take note, having an opportunity to show three good fights on a night is a better idea of what people want to see. The sport needs more double main event/triple main event cards.

    Watched the fight twice.

Gomez is for real, but Gatti is also totally shot.

Margo should have won if he pressed the action earlier, but Williams clearly won as he just landed more (even if many of the shots were weak) & consistently so.

The fight reminded me of somewhere between Hopkins-Taylor 1 and ODL-PBF.

Margo is very legit, but needs to adjust more & be busier & I am still suspect of Williams when he runs into a busy guy who can punch. Mosley & Coto are the class of the division (until PBF returns).

Anyone that says different doesn't know what they are talking about.
