Exactly. Her 12 shots a game probably come on fewer than 12 total possessions.

I honestly don't care. Each are off to great starts. Clark is probably more Big O or Westbrook than Jordan, and Reese is basically Rodman as I stated before.

Clark probably gets more MVP consideration, but for the long haul I take a good long look at Reese for her defense as well as some contributions on offense.

They're 11th out of 12 in PPG, and 9th in offensive rating, and she's second on the team in shots. That's not a coincidence. I can't claim to be an expert on Chicago, but the three games I've seen, plenty of her misses are coming because teams know she just tries to go right back up with it, and she attempts to force a shot with two or three defenders on her. I imagine her off-season goals have to be improving her passing vision - swing it out of the post when she rebounds to an open shooter - or to improve on her first putback attempts, before the defense can swarm on her.

I do wonder if she's ultimately more of a specialist, because her blocks and steals per game aren't great. Not the end all, be all of defense, but you kind of want one of your 6'3" post players to have more than 16 blocks in a year.

Clark and Reese are every bit comparable to Bird and Magic. They really need to embrace the rivalry. And all the league oldsters should just shut the hell up.

Is anyone talking about how Clark looks stronger after the Olympic break?

After the long grind and intense pressure of her collegiate season and the immediate switch into her WNBA career, I think it was great for Clark to not make the Olympic team.

From the look on her face she had not heard him any more than I had. Thanks.

yeah it’s Dallas based. Supposed to be a 1920s reporter. It’s like a once every five year thing maybe. A lot of them are prob more than a decade ago

And the Rookie of the Voting should be as lopsided as Bird 63 votes, Magic 3, from 1980.
