Clark was unanimous ROY, as well. Which is also right.

When I started coaching in the 1980s long nails more than 1/4" above the skin line were specifically prohibited by NFHS rules.

When I returned in the mid 2010s, I assumed they still were.

The Whitlock grievance train is never late.

For what it’s worth, Fever-Sun playing an entertaining playoff game. Tied late in the 4Q.

Good fight by Indiana but there will be open weeping on-air on ESPN at the final horn.

Learn something new -- and this is a great rule. Timeout in the last two minutes, you can advance the ball, but no substitute, no huddle, inbound immediately.

Geez, I'm hoping Clark won't be touching a basketball for at least four months, travels some place where nobody knows her. What an exhausting year. I give her a ton of credit. Most athletes of her status are a lot more guarded and aloof (Jordan, Kobe, Ohtani) they are talked about, more than they talk - but she has done a hell of a lot for women's hoops this year. She's earned a break.

The better team won — Indiana could use another good defender or shooter like Connecticut had.

Clark and Mitchell were really gassed — they never came out of the game.

FWIW, every WNBA rookie basically gets no break. Because it's an Olympic year, Clark got a month-long break this year that teammate Aliyah Boston did not get the year before.

Went last night to watch the Lynx end Taurasi's career (probably). Collier's an absolute beast, dominating in the post, little fadeaways and 15-footers.
