NYC is starving for a championship. Hope the Liberty can bring it home and it will be a peaceful joyous celebration, without any
    looting, rioting or wildin.

I had not considered that aspect. Makes it more understandable.

The WNBA has joined the NLCS and Sunday night football in the YouTube multiview carousel. There’s your sea change right there.

First team to 60 wins the orange slices and trophy!

It’s certainly an intense game and it is encouraging to see the enthusiasm and how far the league has come. But this is a Christ-awful excuse for a championship game.

If they draw up the game-winning shot for the woman who is 1-for-17, they deserve to play next year at the Y, even if she makes it.

Moving up the ball and not allowing the timeout is excellent.

Overtime. First one to 63 wins.

That was dreadful. No other way around it. For both teams.

If that foul that was called to tie the game happened in the Super Bowl the Internet would crash.

If someone on the Knicks went 1-for-19 from the floor in a winner take all game, the cloud of profanity would blot out the sun all the way to Poughkeepsie.

Gritty win. But pretty awful hoops.
