All I know is it's a goddamn hard drive. The fifth one I've seen in 23 hours.

I didn't know you could sell internals...outside of a computer.

Where else would you get a replacement internal hard drive when your computer's original hard drive dies?

By the time a hard drive dies, I'd assume your comp's old so you'd just get a new one.

Hell, this computer's 5 years old, no hard drive issues...and 5 years is a long time for a computer to stay relevant.

I handed my old desktop machine off to my mom when I bought this laptop last year. It's almost 6 years old and other than a power-supply replacement a couple of years ago (HP's original component wasn't overly robust) it's doing fine for what she needs.
