Of all the names on the list, I don't see how Travolta made it. He's a phenomenal actor. And while Cage does suck in many of his flicks, he and Travolta did an outstanding job in Face Off.

Gotta disagree. The guy's a wanker, but he can act.

His turn as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder was brilliant

And Valkyrie wasn't as bad as most thought

I seriously doubt that's true since Stiller developed the film.

Hated Shallow Hal. I did like School of Rock.

Movies since Pulp Fiction that Travolta was good in...

    Get Shorty
    Phenomenon
    Face Off
    Ladder 49
    General's Daughter
    A Civil Action
    Primary Colors

Most of those movies fall into the good/OK category. I really liked Get Shorty and Face/Off, even though Face/Off definitely falls into the guilty pleasure category.

I saw Wild Hogs on an airplane and was stunned when I didn't hate it.

I thought Wahlberg was great in Shooter. Very underrated film.

    Travolta plays a great villain.

The Shallow Hal thing has got to be a joke.

    Sirs, Madames,

Keanu. My daughter's friend's mother dated him in high school ... he couldn't even play straight.

I think Ben Affleck's pretty bad.

I remember Travolta from Kotter days and I never thought he would become a great actor. My opinion changed after Saturday Night Fever. I look at the range of roles he's done, from the mom in Hairspray, to many villain roles. He was good in Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. The guy definitely deserves his status as a star.

Robin Williams is actually a much better dramatic actor than he is a comic actor.

The result has been a few films that were marketed a certain way (not necessarily as comedies, but definitely not as hard drama) like "What Dreams May Come" and "Jack" that a lot of people went expecting one thing and getting something they hadn't bargained for.

Good Will Hunting is one of my favorite movies ever. It was probably the last time I cried in a theater.

    Awakenings is amazing.

Mrs. Doubtfire is probably one of the few movies he's done where he's been able to do the comedy and drama at the same time and do both brilliantly.

I liked him in Insomnia. One Hour Photo was pretty solid.

Long story short, he doesn't belong anywhere near this list.

Of the guys in the poll, the only one even close is Keanu and I wouldn't put him there either.

Tom Cruise redeemed himself with Tropic Thunder. Even as bad as some of his films have been recently, he was the biggest box office star for a solid decade and that's saying something. In my opinion, he should have won at least two Oscars by now, and maybe three.

Travolta and Nic Cage are still is a huge box draws.

Considering how his career started, Wahlberg has far exceeded everyone's expectations.

I remember seeing "Fear" in college and every time he came on the screen, my roommate would scream out "Can you feel it baby?" much to the delight of the crowd.

    Not a bad film either.

Since there really are no action stars left, or at least they still haven't changed since the mid 1980s, we don't have that pool to dip into anymore.

Hell, Will Smith and Johnny Depp are widely considered to be No. 1 and No. 2 these days and both of their last films were colossal disappointments.
