That's what I have heard about Carlin and Sandler from a couple insider friends. They are two of the nicest, easy-going people in show biz. Whether people here think one of them is the worst actor ever, at least he doesn't let the fame go to his head and treat others like shit.

Keanu's probably the worst, but I think Cage annoys me even more.

Is she the woman from Barrie who's suing him for tens of millions of dollars for kids he may or may not have fathered 20-some years ago??

I had a performer here at the school last year who had to have turkey sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie.
The turkey sandwich was to eat before the performance, but the chocolate chip cookie could not be in the dressing room before the performance. The rider was very specific that the cookie was for after the performance and should not be in the dressing room before the performance.
I thought it was very funny, and he turned out to be a really good guy.

i've never understood the hate for ben affleck. he's made some poor film choices but i find nothing he's done a terrible acting job. sorry. and as noted, brother casey is excellent.

costner, on the other hand, has been in some beautifully done films but i do understand the hate for him as an actor. very wooden to me. but for the most part, he's done a good job of choosing films he could slip into comfortably.

hmmm. who else? i suppose i agree with the blond brother in many of the comedies like "wedding crashers," but really, how much acting is required here? plus i don't believe he's what you'd call a "big-name."

i have no problem with wahlberg. i happen to think he's okay.

sorry for not bringing the hate today. dunno what's gotten into me.

I think Owen Wilson is a big name, although I'm really not sure why.

The best thing he's done as an actor is align himself with Ben Stiller. Hell, he was cast in Tropic Thunder before he unsuccessfully tried to off himself and then was mercifully replaced by Robert Downey Jr. That movie might have totally sucked if Wilson was in it.

I like Affleck as well. I think people started hating him over the whole "Bennifer" thing when you couldn't turn on the news without seeing him.

Gigli is every bit as bad as they say though...

I've liked some of Wilson's movies, but it's not usually because of him.

I think Owen Wilson was suppossed the play Matthew McConaughey role, which is probably could have pulled off, but I thought McConaughey was a perfect choice.

Affleck's put out some stinkers, but it seems to me they were mostly just horrible movies across the board, so I put that more on the director than any of the actors. In Pearl Harbor he loses his accent a lot, but why would they choose to use that take. He's proved he can act in Good Will Hunting, Dazed and Confuzed, Smokin' Aces, Hollywoodland and some of the Kevin Smith movies.

Oh, and his part in Extract looks like it is going to be good.

I was really surprised by Hollywoodland, turned out to be a much better film than I thought it would be.

Keep in mind that Owen Wilson co-wrote 'Bottle Rocket,' 'Rushmore' and 'The Royal Tennenbaums.'

That's a better artistic resume than Paul McCartney has had since 'Let It Be.'

And in case you missed Zooey Deschanel as Sid Vicious:

Just guessing here, but I'll bet Wes Anderson had about 10X as much to do with writing those than Wilson.

Tarantino can write too... He's still an awful actor...

I'm just saying the guy has been involved in some very high quality projects from their inception. That is no excuse, of course, for some of the other sh#t to which he as been a party.

Tarantino's problem is that he doesn't realize what an absolute absolutel dweeb he is, so he keeps miscasting himself.
If there was a role in which gangsters show up at a guy's house and the guy collapses into a spasmodic, weeping mass, pissing and sh#ting himself in fear - he'd be perfect for that role.
