Con Air and The Rock both were panned by critics. A lot of people loved both movies. The National Treasure movies got terrible reviews. I enjoyed both of them.

I always considered Reeves as more of an action star than an actor. All of his landmark films (Point Break, Speed, The Matrix) except Bill and Ted and Parenthood, are action.

You mean like his minor role in Mike Judge's new flick? Apparently he only has a few scenes but steals the show.

This ran in my local paper this morning. I looked at it and asked, "Who's the guy with Kenny G's hair playing the bartender?"

I want to go see that movie, Extract. Looks really good and has the stunning Mila Kunis as well.

Mila Kunis really isn't that hot.

National Treasure -- like bacon grease -- is bad stuff and horrible for me but I dearly love it anyway.

The discussion begins and ends with Keanu Reeves.

Parenthood was his only redeeming appearance on screen.

River's Edge is his best movie.

Permanent Record, Matrix I, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Speed, Devil's Advocate, My Own Private Idaho, The Gift, and Point Break.

I'll be the first to agree it's not an overly impressive resume.

You could argue that his only hits are the Matrix movies, the Bill and Ted Movies, Speed and Point Break.

He's usually much better in supporting roles.

No, Keanu Reeves had his high points with Point Break so lay off!

    Easy for me:
    - Matthew McConaghey. Since Dazed & Confused, he plays the same guy in every movie. Takes his shirt off, loses the girl, gets her back.
    - Kate Hudson. Lets MM get her back in too many movies. The typical "I have a good job and a cat but can't decide if I like this guy or not and want to see how much crazy $h!t I can make him do for my love." A certain K. Heigl is in danger of this tragic fate.
    - Sandra Bullock. The original queen of Kate Hudson's problem. Since about 1995, she does the same movie. Yet like McConaghey, she is the Female Wooderson. "I keep getting older but the co-stars in my awful romantic comedies stay the same age!"

Like Ozzie Guillen, they are stealing money...

Cage has made garbage of late but he does have some performances that earned stripes. Raising Arizona, LVL, The Family Man was good. Shoot, I even liked Snake Eyes.

Travolta is like Matt Nokes and Brady Anderson wrapped into one. Comes out huge in Saturday Night Fever and Grease (his Nokes stage), disappears and then hits it huge with Pulp Fiction (Brady's 50 HR season) before settling into high-priced mediocrity. Between Travolta's three seasons when he topped 50 HRs, Travolta is like a player with a chunk of .227 seasons and leading the league in strikeouts.

On the opposite -- I cannot say I have ever seen Jeff Bridges or Dennis Quaid in anything bad.
