Speaking of this clip and the aforementioned actors, I believe Keanu Reeves was slated to play Ben Stiller's character in Tropic Thunder, but wouldn't do it.

I think Reeves giving a wink to the actor he had become would have taken Tropic Thunder from very good comedy to one of the all-time best. Stiller's lack of authenticity in the "action hero" role really took away from that film. The rest of the cast was spot on, as was the Hollywood satire.

Before his retirement, I woulda voted Joaquin Phoenix.

I voted Nic Cage and really it's no contest. At least Keanu trys interesting stuff (Matrix, Constantine, Scanner Darkly). Nic Cage will do any piece of shit as long as there's a paycheck involved (Ghost Rider, Knowling, Next, Bangkok Dangerous). Dude's in everything. That sucks.

    Tom Cruise. Easily.

Plus anyone in the Frat Pack. The unfortunate thing is my idiotic generation thinks this group of bumfucks might actually be funny.

And Robin Williams was hospitalized for heart problems last year, so that's probably why he hasn't been in much lately. He's getting up there in years. I finally saw Good Morning Vietnam and Dead Poet's Society this year, and both were amazing. One Hour Photo really creeped me out as well.

I liked Wilson in the Shanghai Knight movies, though I'll admit they're guilty pleasures so if I looked objectively, I'd probably think he sucked.

As far as other flicks he's been in, I thought the Royal Tenebaums (sp*), You, Me and Dupre, and ISpy all sucked. Actually, taking a look at his filmography, he might be the winner.

I forgot about Starsky & Hutch and the Big Bounce. Talk about two piece of crap flicks.

I did like Drillbit Taylor though. I think in spite of him.

I can't vote for Keanu in this race because he's pretty well aware of his limitations and he generally picks movies that play to his type. Though he is often regarded as a terrible actor, I find that I enjoy many of his films.

John Travolta has been living off Pulp Fiction for the better part of a decade. He's absolutely terrible.

But the worst actor among this group has to be Marky Mark. Why he got so much love for his bit role in The Departed, I have no idea. He wasn't anything special and I thought when I walked out that he was the weakest link in the film.

Listening to him ask his class "Doesn't anyone care about the bees?" in 'The Happening,' I thought he was trying to be sarcastic and there was some bigger lesson or joke about to be handed down. Sadly, that was his version of a teacher. He's an awful actor (and I always thought he was fairly overrated in Boogie Nights) and I can't think of any good movies he's been in besides Boogie Nights (and I thought the movie as a whole was fairly overrated). At least Keanu makes enjoyable movies. Marky Mark makes nothing but shit.

Cage has made too many good movies and, yes, had too many good performances to really be on this list. I put him on because I know how often he gets bagged on this site, but he is miles better than Wahlberg.

I'd add Dane Cook, but I don't think anybody anywhere contends he's anything but awful as a screen actor. What I don't get are the morons who think he's funny as a comedian.
