    It was still operating a month ago -- I ate at one outside the Detroit Airport. And my experience was much different than yours. Didn't expect much -- we got in late and the kids had to eat. But it sucked hard.

    No idea if this has been mentioned yet ... but Steak and Shake is VASTLY overrated. The shake's are ok, but everything else just blows hard. It's not even that good when you're drunk.
