Worst helmets in the NFL

Gee... I wonder which helmet is my favorite.

Because its simplicity, when 53 of these come running out of the tunnel on a sunny Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m., it's a thing of beauty and gets me goosebumps thinking about it.

Fuck, GO BROWNS AND GO PRO FOOTBALL.

Note: One may wonder why I have such a deep sense of love for this group of perennial losers... I wish I knew.

 

Actually, it was the helmet the Cincy NAACP gave Marvin Lewis shortly after he became the Bengals head coach.

I realize the Benagls are a punching bag for the unis and helmet, but I'd rather have the stripes than the lame-ass cat faces you see with the Jags and Panthers (sorry Sam Mills51).

What do you associate with Bengals and tigers? Their stripes.

And, didn't San Francisco try to change their helmet, switching the classic SF logo with a gay (pardon the pun) new 49ers logo?

I can't seem to find that on the Internet.

 

Yeah. You'd think that the Browns, albeit named after the man, would have brown helmets. Never understood the shade of orange.

 

I was quite fond of the Creamsicle unis. Hell, I willingly purchased an Errict Rhett jersey about 10 years ago.

And another thing: The Eagles need to bring these babies back...

 

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I think the Eagles and the Buc were two uniform changes that were for the good.

No offense taken, Freelance. I like the stripes in Cincinnati as well.

I do like the Panthers logo ... pretty simple and you can see that they were trying to capture the basic outline of the Carolinas. But the helmets are not an aesthetic highlight. The black jerseys and silver pants are great, and the white unis are passable.

But the helmet is adequate at best (and don't get me started on those awful Smurf jerseys ... ).

 

Oh come one, if you're going to use orange, don't puss out and use that pinkish orange shit. Go all the way and break out a real orange.
