Singlehandedly responsible for slaughtering the careers of just about everybody who appeared in it (even those who didn't have careers to slaughter):

Several of the participants have come back (Aerosmith, Steve Martin), but it took them decades to do it.

Worst movie I have ever paid to see:

Good to see a mention of The Love Guru. Know a guy who was in it as one of the opposing hockey players and he told me he shitty it was even as they were filming it.

A few people have mentioned Hope Floats (Hi, IJAG!!). To this day I still take reams of shit from my college roommate because I agreed to see that movie all in the hopes of getting a piece of ass.

I received a bit of redemption a couple months ago, though, when I stayed overnight at his house. On a rack next to the spare bed was Hope Floats on VHS! He said it was his wife's, and doesn't count, but I reminded him it was community property. :)

I don't know if anyone will even remember this movie, but it is the worst I've ever seen, in the theater or otherwise.

How can that be? I see where a critic called it "Brilliant."

  9. I was reminded last night on Starz of one of the worst movies of recent vintage. I never thought a movie with Pacino and DeNiro could be so bad but Righteous Kill was stunningly bad.

    I saw Bikini Car Wash.

It's Citizen Kane compared to this:

Because it was. An absurd work of art that one was.

  12. It had one laugh-out-loud moment. At some point toward the end sequence, which seemed to have gone on forever, Green is at an airport or something. One of the drivers is holding up a card that says, instead of someone's name, "When the fuck is this movie going to be over?"

I think he intentionally sought to make the worst movie he possibly could, and that little bit was letting the audience in on the joke.
