I liked Bring It On - toed the line between spoof and straight comedy pretty well. If you watch Glee (and enjoy it) it's the same kind of humor.

I decided to flip through instant NetFlix the other night and turned on "Freshman Orientation" for a bit. Yeah, it was bad.

But Scott Bakula's wife made it worth watching. Weirdest name, but a beautiful woman: Jensen Daggett

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the worst movie of the last decade was Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever.

Never saw it, or even heard of it, but here's their top, er, bottom 100 list http://www.rottentomatoes.com/guides/worst_of_the_worst/10/

In all fairness, Bernsen was prominently involved in the first movie, and that one was funny.
Of course, I was much younger and smoking pot all the time.

It was also written and directed by David S. Ward, which is the real difference between "Major League" and its two sequels. He also directed "Major League II," but did not write it.

Some of the movies I've never heard of. Some I like. One is among my favorites... :(

Never saw that one, but I always thought one of the problems with it (obviously there were many more than this) was tagging the "Ecks vs. Sever" onto the end. It felt like this was an installment in some series with which I was unfamiliar, or a remake of a foreign film, or two franchises teaming up (like Freddy vs. Jason or Alien vs. Predator).
Instead it was brand new shit.
