Does the "Best Video Ever" also qualify as the "Best Remix Ever?" (shameless Hoff bump :D)

If Mitch Buchannon had any stones, he would have called his remake "Hoffed on a Feeling."

No Hoff bump can be considered shameless.

As long as this song exists nothing new you hear on the radio will topple it. For you, Freelance!!! :D ;D ;D :D

I didn't mind that version of "Dancing In The Dark". The 12-incher had some cool unreleased thing on the flip side but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was.

If they did a dance re-mix of this, you'd be right. Same goes for "Same Old Lang Syme" and "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)"

They are sacred treasures not to be messed with.

    Regarding Springsteen remixes:

Thankfully I've never heard the "Secret Garden" dance club mix (I've only heard the radio station mix that has dialogue from the movie thrown in, the alternate released version with strings, and the officially released version).

Then there were the three 80s Arthur Baker remixes of Bruce songs. The Dancing in the Dark and Cover Me ones are allright. But the Born in the USA dance remix is horrendous.

EStreet, do you remember what was on the flip side of "Dancing In The Dark"? And I don't know if the "Born In the USA" one was any worse than Stanley Clarke's version.

I actually have the 12-inch remix of Dancing in the Dark and just checked and it has the same B-side as the 6-inch (45 RPM) version had -- Pink Cadialllac. Then again, since I haven't played the 12-inch B-side in a while, it might be an extended remix of Dancing in the Dark, but the label says it's just 3:33 long, so I'm assuming its the standard studio version.
