Don't know your circumstances with them, but St. Louis and the Rams was a bad break-up. St. Louis wound up getting $280 million out of it, and turned the St. Louis BattleHawks into the XFL's most popular franchise almost purely out of spite.

Mike Golic’s life appears to have improved in every possible way since that break-up.

    He looks 20 years younger.

I didn't think much of Golic during Mike and Mike, seemed to play up the bombastic former jock angle to the other Mike's neurosis, - but he is one great radio color analyst. Incrediblly strong.

I've been around Golic a few times in my job. From what I've seen (SSS), he treats people very, very well, from those working around him (PAs, etc.) to people who just want to say hello. Very comfortable in his skin and was kind and smiling often.

    +1.
After meeting him at a Senior Bowl ... walked away thinking, "What a breath of fresh air."

Could have warned every one of you on this. Not that I blame BYH in the least – he and I have discussed this – but bringing up the Hartford Whalers guaranteed the response.

    Brett Favre and the Packers.

Made Aaron Rodgers and the Packers look downright graceful in comparison.

Thinking of the Hurricanes and their treatment of longtime voice Chuck Kaiton -- Ernie Harwell getting dumped by Bo Schembechler. Talk about a massive public relations failure.
