Month 8 of the strike starts today. The reading public seems unaffected, the internet obviously changed how the public accesses news. I don't see this strike ending anytime soon.

Unrelated to the strike, there has been a rumor swirling on social media that SJ favorite Colin Dunlap is in some hot water at the radio station he works at but nothing has been confirmed.

I thought he wasn't doing his morning show any longer. Somebody wrote on Twitter that he was demoted from the show, and Dunlap claimed that it wasn't a demotion. He wrote that it was a move to do other work for the station. I have no idea what the actual story is there.

He was removed from the morning show.
He is now basically a roving guy who is going to cover games, write website stuff, do videos, etc.
This is all reminiscent of the moves management makes when they want you gone. I’ve lived it.

That is what I figured. I'm not there to listen to it, so I didn't know until someone brought it up on Twitter. His denial that it was a demotion/removal didn't really make sense, but that's all speculation.

The exclamation point really sells that tweet.
