I'm wondering, Zeke, why the Whiffenpoofs aren't suspects yet.

    When you're a Whiffenpoof,
    You're a Whiffenpoof
    all the way
    From your first cigarette
    To your last
    dyin' day.

That's quality work right there, DD.

BTW, as a fellow television-phile, I offer this nugget -- in the past few years I've seen the Whiffenpoofs on BOTH The West Wing and Gilmore Girls.

Lot of pub for an a capella singing group. They may be poised for world domination.

  3. OK, we need a Godwin's Law for this situation.

And we're calling it Zeke12's Law. "Anyone who uses the word "Whiffenpoof" to advance an argument loses said argument."

    Man law? No, Zeke12's Law.

The Whiffenpoofs are Yale's preeminent group, but my allegiances are with The Spizzwinks (?). Had a high school English teacher sing with them for three years (he then defected to the Whiffenpoofs, of course), and a buddy from elementary and high school spent four years with them.

    Funkabuncha Whiffenpoofs.

You see what you did, Bobcat?

They heard that. And now you'll have to die. First corollary to Zeke's Law. Anyone who mocks the Whiffenpoofs dies an excruciating death.

    Hope it was worth it.

    Wake, wake, freshman wake. ...

    Oh, sorry. My wake.

Really? Fish? I smell sizzling steak, chicken and shrimp, with a side of guacamole.
