    Seems that way Moddy. Few years ago, Romano wrote a book-length series on a fallen soldier.
    Sports peeps have known about this move for a while.

    Romano will be great in that gig. After years of Bucs coverage, especially the current team, it will be a breath of fresh air.

    That happened in Culpeper, Va., more than a year ago. Culpeper has a slightly smaller circ, but is a seven-day daily. The SE was offered a spot at the editing center in Lynchburg, but took the meager buyout instead. It's been a one-man sports staff there for a while now.

  5. I noticed the SE at the paper in Hernando County has had a couple corespondent bylines. Hopefully that means he's at least doing something on a heavily part-time basis for them.
