Actually, TSP and others among the various threads did try to absolve her of blame for any of her actions, which ticked me off, too. Phillips and Hundley are both to blame. Both behaved horribly.

Just watched the Today Show special about Phillips. While I feel sorry for his family I didn't like the high and mighty role that he has seemingly taken by airing this out publicly. The girl is young and impressionable. She fell for him and ended up getting hurt.
There are some parallels to the Steve McNair murder-suicide, minus the crime of course.
Incidentally, his wife has filed for divorce and is seeking custody of the kids.
In short, Steve Phillips is about to get fucked by someone in a black robe.

 

Based on the way Phillips comported himself on the road, it was only a matter of time. Discreet and subtle don't seem to be part of his vocabulary.

 

I agree. My dealing with him have always been professional. I noticed a change when he switched to TV but when I think about it, he always had a TV-type of flair.
