Bitch is insane. Phillips is a dumb fuck. Not much else to say here.

Kids are being put through hell and will sadly probably emulate their father's behavior later in life. That has been my personal experiences - friends who acted this way with girlfriends and wives almost always picked it up from their fathers.

For what it's worth, if you've ever seen Marni Phillips, she's gorgeous.

I don't care enough about it. But she was never in the position of power in whatever kind of relationship this was.

 

No argument there, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. She is still an adult.

 

She's 22 damned years old. Do you remember being 22? Did you not do stupid things? Maybe not stalk people, but tell me you didn't handle at least a few relationships badly or awkwardly.

Absolutely, but I didn't stalk anybody, or start messing with anybody's family. That is the difference. I'm not even saying she needs to be in jail, but I could certainly understand ESPN cutting her loose.

Age is a factor, but not an excuse. And yes, I remember being 22, though not quite as well as I remember 23, which is how old I was when I met my wife of 10 years.

 

At 22 I was like many of you posters, young, dumb and full of come. But that doesn't excuse her. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Again, this was a private matter that should've remained as such.

Not taking a stance on what she did or other people's opinions of it, but man am I tired of the "You all did X when you were that age" argument.

There's a whole big world of people out there all acting differently. There is no one way we all acted at any given age.

So what do you do now if you're Steve Phillips?

Does Connecticut have "You screwed up and you're going to pay" divorce laws? Does he just throw himself on his wife's mercy and hope she doesn't totally destroy him? I have a feeling that, if he tries to fight a settlement, he's got nothing in his corner.

And what of Brooke Hundley? Does she make herself invisible for a while and hope folks will forget what she's done? Or, does she milk it for all it's worth?
