Yikes! Fatal Attraction Mistress Hits Former Mets GM Steve Phillips

It was on the front of the Post again today. It's extremely weird being on the subway and seeing someone you know on the front page of the Post for a sex scandal.

 

I'll say this about the Post: Thumbed through it in the grocery store today for the first time in months. And for better or worse, it still looked and felt like the same paper. Thick. Newsy. Lots of interesting things. And lots of trash, of course. And it seems we never see any discussions about the Post slashing jobs.

Must be nice to work for a place where your owner doesn't give a shit if it loses $70 million a year.

 

No, but right before the news broke she did contact one of my friends about meeting up with our group this week. It probably wasn't going to happen anyways since none of us are that close with her, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's definitely not happening now.

This whole thing is bizarre. Phillips is a scumbag. I feel sorry for his family. As for Hundley, she fucked a married man and she is an adult. She is not a victim. And she sure is fugly.

 

Today the Post referred to her as a "tubby temptress." Mean, but I guarantee whomever wrote that had a smile on their face.

 

That's in line with previous usage of the "portly pepperpot" in a different context.

 

If I'm ESPiN, I'm looking for ways to keep Steve out of the office after the suspension's over.

My guess is they'll move Phillips off of the Baseball Tonight desk and onto being the color analyst for their Pro Rodeo coverage.

Mean or not, with the shit she has done, she is fair game for that and worse. Man, I hope if I one day screw up my marriage, family and perhaps even my career, I actually get some value back in the form of quality tail.
