Remember when basketball players who didn't have the ball would occasionally make cuts and set screens?

Actually looking forward to a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup at Woolworth's when your mom was done shopping.

    THAT is old-school.

Do you remember the beautiful monopoly Topps baseball cards were?

your first digital watch (red on red)

the sound of a made basket on that mattel basketball game

    Schoolhouse Rock

Joe G. and Tony K. doing the Saturday afternoon baseball game of the week?

When you could hit the quarterback?

When every NFL logo didn't look the same.

When teal was thought upon as a stupid color for the team and everyone didn't have some form of black.

My parents still have a giant piece of furniture - easily 3 feet hight, 2 feet wide and 6 feet long - that is wood-panel brown and requires its own table runner. Open the lid and it's a record player/8-track player. That thing is heavy as fuck, and they now have a CD player sitting on top, but they refuse to get rid of it.

The coolest part of hungover, half-wrecked college Saturday mornings.

fantastic. Ought to hold on to it now. It's well on its way to vintage status, where it can bring in some coin or become a museum piece some day.

Yeah, but the coolest part of five of the other days, was 3:30 p.m. cocktail hour and "M*A*S*H" reruns.

When you could get a McDLT from McDonald's
Walter Cronkite ending every broadcast with "That's the way it is?"
