I was on the bubble in most every category, for most of the calendar year.
It was an uphill battle I was fighting and I knew it.

I am honored and grateful to pass the Poster of the Year tiara to my friend, Double Down, a truly deserving recipient. DD, sorry about the cracks in the crystal. And the stain. Don't touch the stain.

I am also honored to be included in the parade, but I must say, I don't think I deserved it. Although I try to contribute when I do post, I don't post very much. Also, I'm a bit of a dick.

So I would like to pass my honor on to another friend and fellow poster, the tragically unheralded jgmacg, who has done so much for the board this year especially. I'm sure the young writers in our crew who have received his counsel will agree with me.
