Now apple BUTTER, and I'm with you..

That said, I always wanted my dad to make me peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches. I guess since I saw him eating them, too, I wanted him to make it for me instead of my mom. One of maybe two things I'd rather him fix than Mama.

Knowing the general disdain for the place, I hesitate to say this...but the $6.99 lunch combo at Applebee's with the Grilled Shrimp ‘N Spinach Salad (Spinach, fresh diced tomatoes, bacon pieces, roasted red peppers, red onions, toasted sliced almonds and hot bacon vinaigrette—all topped with succulent seasoned, grilled shrimp) and the Grilled Cheese BLT (This double-decker classic combines melted Jack, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, crispy Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayonnaise on toasted marbled wheat bread) may be the best lunch I've ever had. That salad is divine. And a doubledecker grilled cheese BLT is amazing.

Kosher salami, sliced wafer thin, piled high, yellow mustard on rye. NO CHEESE.

    Liverwurst-and-mayo.

Cream cheese and jelly (FB beat me to it).

The Canuck bluenosers will understand. :)

I still eat a peanut butter & jelly sandwich amlost every day, often when I get home from work...as long as I haven't stopped for a beer or two after work, doesn't go well on top of a few Heinekens.

Must be Welch's grape jelly and Skippy Super Chunk extra crunchy, preferably on rye although white toast will suffice in a pinch.

Rye? Who the fuck eats PBJ on rye? Other than spnited, of course.

Everyday for lunch my 7th grade year, I had Cheez Whiz on pumpernickle.

Right now, my favorite is tuna on wheat with honey mustard....and no mayo within a five-mile radius. HATE, HATE, HATE mayo or Miracle Whip.

As far as PBJ, it has to be creamy Jif for me. Crunchy peanut butter is like eating GrapeNuts on bread.

Isn't it as federal law that PBJ has to be eaten on white bread (at the very least, wheat)?

Kid -- PB&J (grape jelly) on white bread every single day for 12 years, with an apple-shaped dent in the sandwich from the lunch bag tussle.

Now -- Just the PB, on wheat berry or something supposedly healthier

    ALWAYS crunchy PB, always.

Don't think I have ever tried bologna. I hated those damn Oscar Mayer kids and their stupid ditty :)
