    Sportschick, you should look into a DVD box set of the 10 best games in Flyers history. I just got it. One of the games is that Flyers-Penguins overtime doozy.

    If you are curious, the others:
    Bob Clarke's OT winner in Game 2 of the 1974 Final;
    The 2 Stanley Cup clinching victories;
    The 6-1 win over the Russians;
    The 29th consecutive win in 1979-80;
    Tim Kerr's four-goal period in the 1985 playoff win over the Rangers;
    The 3-2 win over Edmonton in Game 6 of the 1987 Final;
    Jeremy Roenick's Game 6 OT winner that eliminated Toronto in 2004;
    and Game 6 of the 2004 East Final against Tampa

    Nothing from this year is included.

    Not a hockey fan by any stretch, but the Easter Saturday/Sunday Game 7 between the Islanders and Capitals in the first round of the playoffs. Four overtimes and Pat LaFontaine broke my heart (at the time I cheered for any damn thing from Washington, whether I knew anything about the sport or not).

    Sorry that you cried.

    I cried too, but for joy. [/looser Twins fangirl]

    Should I feel guilty that I was an adult thrilled with the Twins win while this little nine-year-old kid was sobbing his eyes out cuz his team lost? ;)

    I fell asleep after the third overtime. :mad:

    My favorite game has to be Isles-Pens Game 7, 1993. Two words: David Volek.

    Who knew it would be the last really good Isles team in my lifetime?
