You obviously have never read any paper outside of Cincy, right?

I'll cast another vote for Bianchi.

    Some days its Plaschke.
    Some days its Geoff Calkins.
    Some days it David Whitley.

    I like Witlock's posts. ;D

It's gotta be Posnanski -- never afraid to rip the Royals.

I'm curious how this is any different from "Best Under 30, Assistant Preps Editor in East Bumblefrick at a twice weekly" threads most of you guys jump people's shit for starting.

Is it different because of who started it?

Gotta go Calkins and Posnanski, btw.

    Whitlock.  ;D

And answer for Terd: There is no difference.

    Me of course.

    Seriously though it's Posnanski.

Difference is everybody's read these guys (or if you haven't, you can do so very easily) so the opinions are informed.

    Well-known doesn't necessarily mean better.

I guess, though in this age of the Internet it's probably just as easy to read the guys mentioned in this thread as the guys in East Bumblefrick.
This whole thread just strikes me as odd considering the reactions to other very similar threads in the past. Yet another example of the high school lunch room mentaility that rules life more than we all want to admit. That attitude seems especially prevelant on here. As long as one of the cool kids wants to start a thread, it must be cool. If somebody at the wrong table does it, then it's unacceptable.
And no, I haven't been picked on, I'm just making an observation (and coming off as an incredible whiner, I know)

The difference is that other than Whitlock, I doubt too many of these guys will be on here voting for themselves... ;D
