    Mark Whicker. If he were a baseball player, scouts would call him a five-tool player because he can do it all. He can be funny, he can tug at your heart, he can be sharply critical without taking the low road, he can be insightful, he can get people to open up and reveal their humanity. And he's a horse.

    Nice call on Whicker. Still miss reading him in the Philadelphia Daily News, all these years later.

    As for Wojo -- great columnist, better person.
