    This guy (an Iraqi journalist!) did survive, though some accounts say he was severely beaten. Other accounts say he also was celebrated within his country after his 5 seconds of international fame.

    My favorite part of this is GWB ducking the first shoe but getting right in position to take on shoe No. 2. I think our current president would have been on the ground shaking after the first one. (sorry, politics)
