Good one. I think she was sold into the porn world.

Also, what's the deal with quicksand? Do you really get sucked down that fast like you see on TV/movies or do you actually have a fighting chance.

I really don't think that's likely. If she'd gotten enmeshed in porn, I think eventually she'd have found her way out or someone would have recognized her. Under that scenario, it's possible she was sold as a sex slave, sent to some third-world country, where she either died at a later date or is still in captivity some place where she can't get out. To me, the likeliest outcome was that she was abducted, raped, killed and her body dumped in the ocean for the sharks to take care of.

And if I'm not mistaken, that guy is now dead. At any rate, that was the obvious suspect and makes perfect sense to me. A pissed off guy who had just gotten his ass kicked.

It's funny that Suge Knight is such an egotistical asshole that he still thinks he was the target.

I read a great book about Loch Ness monster theories. It was a long time ago though, probably early to mid-90s.
And the book was several years older.

Thanks a lot, Buck. I just spent 20 minutes watching Bear Grylls videos when I could have been cutting off a toenail or something.

Ha! I just listened to the episode about the Villisca ax murders on "Thinking Sideways" this week and had the exact thought. An ax seems like an unwieldy way to kill people and is likely to leave the killer spattered in gore.

And why use the blunt side the ax?
The only one who got the blade was the father. They talked about that a bit.
But I kept wondering why the killer used the back side of the ax on the other five victims.

I wondered too. Made it seem like it was personal with the father and the rest were taken out to prevent witnesses.
