My hamburger tonight was a prime ribeye on the grill. Lordy, mouthwateringly good.

ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS
2 lb. lean ground turkey
1/3 c. applesauce
3 T. hoisin sauce
1 T. soy sauce
1 T. sesame oil, plus additional for pan
1 T. finely minced ginger root
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 scallions (white and green parts), finely Chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
6 sesame seed hamburger buns

* In large bowl, combine ingredients and form into 6 patties. May appear a little wet/loose, but that's normal. May be covered and refrigerated up to 24 hours.
* Lightly brush a grill pan, skillet or hot grill grates with remaining sesame oil and place over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook until golden, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook until the other side is golden and turkey is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bun and serve immediately.
* Serve with peanut sauce, lettuce and onions and a dollop of hoisin sauce, or with lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Burger meat + Cast Iron Skillet = Good enough for me. The bread and fixings are just incidental.
