I went to a game in each of the Blues Jays' World Series years. Been to two Orange Bowls - including one for the national championship - two Vanier Cups (Canadian university championship) and Wrestlemania VI.

I'd like to get to a Super Bowl and the Monaco Grand Prix.

I've worked in hockey for almost 25 years and have never been to a Stanley Cup playoff game.

Tennis isn’t my first sport, but I find that an intriguing choice. I’m sure I’m wrong but it feels like it would be more intimate and less corporate somehow. Probably take Paris or New York over London though.

A day of Olympic track finals or the individual women’s gymnastics finals wouldn’t suck either.

For me, it'd be a Wimbledon finals weekend, or the Kentucky Derby. I'd have a hard time picking between them. A day of Olympic swim finals would be great, too.

I wouldn't be averse to a Super Bowl or a World Cup final, either -- who would be? -- but, frankly, I feel like I'd probably be able to watch better and see more of both of them on TV.

Boy, this is actually a lot harder to answer than I thought. Like ChrisLong, I've been fortunate to cross off a lot of Chef2's list already. Plus, several of these require being allowed to travel outside of the country, which is still at least two years away.

I don't count seeing the Detroit Tigers win a World Series because that's too specific a request, and I'm not getting any younger.

    1. Hahnenkamm downhill
    2. Sunday back nine at Augusta
    3. Army-Navy Game, preferably in Philly
    4. Australian Football Grand Final
    5. Cresta Run in St. Moritz
    6. A Industriales-Santiago game in Havana

I'm a stadium nut - so seeing what few "old stadiums" there are left would be it. The 'shoe, in Columbus, The Big House, night game in Baton Rouge and ND college football games are pretty much it. A Final Four in New Orleans would be fun, doesn't matter who is playing, maybe a Stanley Cup Game 7 in Canada, Spending a day in the Alps when the Tour de France passes through, Augusta (I guess),

A Saturday night game in Baton Rouge. I've always thought that would be loads of fun.

The Army-Navy game is high on my list, too — and much more likely than ever seeing the Hawkeyes in the Rose Bowl at this point.

Catching a fall game on campus at West Point would be great, too.

That last one is doable, and I can't recommend it enough. I was blessed in my career as far as events go, and the only two left that I might take the trouble to go see as a spectator are the Open Championship (but only in Scotland) and the Rose Bowl.

A Friday afternoon game at Wrigley (gotta be in the summer)
Be in the gallery on Saturday at the 16th hole in Phoenix.

I don't know if there is a sporting event that I have to see before leaving the mortal coil. My career hasn't been so dazzling that I've covered every big-time event, very far from it, but there's just nothing anymore that I'd bend over backwards (and pay through the nose) to see. Does that sound lame? Don't get me wrong, if someone tosses two box seats my way to the next Kentucky Derby, I'm there.

But I do I have many golf courses I'd like to play and places to visit.
